The local entertainment landscape is frequently graced by young talents who star in educational programs, family comedies and drama anthologies. One of these rising stars is Jayferson “JJ” Rivera Ahaja, who recently won the Kids of the World 2026 Grand Winner, Little Mister Category during a pageant held in Bali, Indonesia. At the prestigious event, top honors were awarded to the young candidate, and he was also recognized with the Top Model and People’s Choice awards.

If the child actor continues to hone his craft, his early exposure to the klieg lights is expected to result to a fruitful career, unless unforeseen circumstances intervene in his development. Away from the cameras, the kid artist is a grade three pupil whose classes run from Monday to Friday. He adheres strictly to the curriculum set by the Department of Education. According to his parents, the department encourages a holistic approach to child development. “I like computer class, science class, history class, math class, GMRC and English,” JJ stated. The boy, who currently stands at approximately 130cm, is notably an honor student.
Before arriving on the set, dialogues are practiced extensively in workshops so that the young actor is familiar with the necessary stage equipments and heavy furnitures. During a recent radio interview with "Showbiz Pulis", it was recalled that veteran actress Glaiza de Castro was very caring. JJ played her son Jayjay in an episode, where he reportedly memorized over one hundred twenty lines.
Among today’s prominent figures, he looks forward to meeting actor-director Coco Martin to simply say hello. Furthermore, he harbors a grand dream to one day perform before top national leaders, an ambitious list that includes President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. as well as former president Rodrigo Duterte.
His supportive parents continually accompany him to his pageants, filming sets and print media interviews. The family is always present to guide him through the industry. “We support his interests in a good way,” said his father, Lans Ahaja. The patriarch advised his son to be respectful to elders and to remain humble. If there are adults around, JJ is taught to politely ask for hand-blessing.
Although he is a newbie talent under the Kids of the World Philippines organization, his schooling remains the ultimate priority. According to an official bulletin from his management team, upcoming weekend workshops would be suspended to allow the child ample rest. Ultimately, his parents hope he will manage their construction business someday, as JJ has expressed a profound desire to become an engineer.
